After smashing records and earning heaps of praise from NBA greats, Luka Doncic has amazed the onlookers by registering yet another triple-double along with a brilliant alley-oop that became the talk of the town.
The Dallas Mavericks guard threw a flawless pass on Tuesday night when they faced the San Antonio Spurs that was turned into a perfect basket by Derrick Jones Jr. Doncic threw a marvelous lob from the free throw line to the opposite end knowing where Derrick was, who made no mistake in jumping and pushing the ball through the rim.
During the first quarter, Doncic picked up the ball in his own half and then Luka produced a moment of Magic. The Slovenian threw the ball upwards in a flat trajectory as time stood still with Victor Wembanyama looking above his head in despair.
The game ended in favor of the Mavs who won by 113-107. Doncic contributed 18 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out 16 assists marking his 18th triple-double this season and securing his 3rd spot in the list behind his friend Nikola Jokic (21) and Domantas Sabonis (23).
Despite having no major accolades to his name following his rookie year, the Mavs center has performed phenomenally striving for the best outcomes which earned him a spot in the MVP contenders list. Apart from being an outstanding scorer, Doncic showcased his playmaking abilities and vision with his alley-oop.
