Watch: The Rock warns Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in hilarious song, breaking WWE’s PG guidelines

The Rock is currently aligned with ‘The Bloodline faction and is set to team up with Roman Reigns for a tag team match against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on the first night of WrestleMania 40 in April. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson recently brought back his promo concert, where he addresses his rivals before their big match.

In one of the latest editions of SmackDown, ‘The People’s Champion’ dedicated a hilarious song to ‘The Architect’ & ‘The American Nightmare.’ Reports claim that Rock broke WWE’s PG guidelines through this recent song and may have repercussions.

The Rock made his electrifying return this year on RAW: Day-1 event and since then he has joined hands with his fellow Anoa’i family member Roman Reigns. After Cody Rhodes won the Royal Rumble match, it was reported that Rock might face Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. However, all of that changed in the WrestleMania 40 press conference where Cody chose to ‘Finish his Story’ with the ‘Head of the Table’ in the grandest stage of them all.

During the March 15 edition of SmackDown, the ‘Brahma Bull’ took a different approach to taunt his opponents for WM 40, where he fired shots at both Cody and Seth through a special song. The Rock used his vocal skills to degrade both wrestlers and warned them to be aware of the upcoming storm their way.

The first verse of Rock’s songs said, “The Rock is gonna come lay the Smack’eth down. On your bon Cody ass, and your best friend the Clown. I’m gonna whoop that ass and break your back. Or maybe I’ll just beat you with my fanny pack”.

The rest of the song addresses the Rhodes family and even mentions that Becky Lynch, Seth Rollin’s wife is more famous than him. Although fans enjoyed the segment, but near the end, Rock took a jab at the Cody fans calling them the ‘Cody Crybabies.’

Does WWE have an issue with The Rock’s promos?

The Rock has not engaged in any matches since his return, and most of the segments involving him are scripted promo cuts, which is disappointing for some fans. A recent report claimed that although Rock is a TKO board member, the company still wants the Hollywood star to maintain PG guidelines and that many are feeling Dwayne Johnson is the second coming of Vince McMahon.

‘The Great One’ instantly responded to the said report posted on social media and replied, “This story is complete horseshit.” However, the Rock is the current driving force behind WWE, as Vince McMahon’s lawsuit was hurting the company. The 51-year-old star wanted to be acknowledged instead of being questioned for his integrity.
