Kawhi Leonard was featured in a commercial for the in-season tournament of the NBA and a video of the time of shooting has surfaced on the internet. In the video, Kawhi can be seen dressed up as a security guard whose role in the commercial was to escort the NBA Cup in a huge case.
He talks about his acting skills while joking that he wants to win an Oscar for his performance in the commercial. When asked how he would rate himself as an actor, Kawhi reportedly said, “10 out of 10. I want to win an Oscar, so I’ll say I will give it 4 tries, and then it’s complete.” Kawhi’s sense of humor remains strong, and he looks confident now that he has an opportunity to redeem himself for his absence from last season.
Kawhi Leonard eyes Olympic glory
Kawhi Leonard had recently expressed his desire to play for the national team, Team USA. The four-time NBA champion has accomplished a lot in his career, except for major international glory. With the 2024 Olympics just around the corner, it is a good time for him to add another significant achievement to his already long list.
Kawhi has been called up for the national team on multiple occasions, once in 2012 and again in 2016, but had to withdraw both times due to injuries. He expressed his desire to participate with Team USA this summer but was unable to do so because of some prior obligations that required more attention.
