2024 NBA All-Star Game reserves list revealed

The reserves for the 2024 NBA All-Star games were recently announced and it has caused a stir among the fans. The NBA All-Star games this year would be the classic Western Conference vs Eastern Conference match and would take place at the home of the Pacers in the lovely city of Indianapolis.

The reserves for the Western Conference are- Devin Booker, Stephen Curry, Anthony Edwards, Paul George, Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, and Karl-Anthony Towns. While the reserves for the Eastern Conference are- Jaylen Brown, Bam Adebayo, Paolo Banchero, Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Maxey, Donavan Mitchel, and Julius Randle.

The health of the players in the reserve team would be a big issue in the upcoming All-Star game. While most of the players are healthy some players would probably not be cleared to compete. Knicks guard Julius Randle recently suffered an injury which would most probably refrain him from participating in the game.

Why was Trae Young not selected for 2024 NBA All-Star?

The announcement of the NBA All-Star starters and reserves has led fans to question the criteria for selection. Numerous players, despite remarkable performances, were not chosen as All-Stars, with the Atlanta Hawks Star Tare Young being a prime example.

Trae has performed amazingly in recent seasons but hasn’t been selected as an All-Star in recent years. In the previous season, Trae averaged 26.2 PPG and 10.2 assists per game, however, he was not selected as an All-Star.

This season Trae is averaging 27.0 PPG and 10.9 assists per game but was still not selected as an All-Star this time. This has made the fans question the decision-making at the NBA headquarters and feel like they have disrespected the Hawks star.
