As one of the oldest tournaments in the history of all tennis, the Canadian Open or the Rogers Cup is one of the most renowned events. This ATP 1000 Masters was founded in 1881 and has been hosting the most top-tier tennis players ever since. Given that this is one of the 9 ATP 1000 Masters tournaments, all the players will have to go against the best of the best to win the Rogers Cup.
This year, young Italian star Jannik Sinner did exactly that. Deemed the rival of the Wimbledon-winning Carlos Alcaraz himself, Sinner defeated some of the most talented tennis stars in the circuit to claim his first-ever ATP 1000 title and the bucketload of prize money that came with it.
