Sponsorship deals involving MrBeast and a sports team should be a really huge one, considering MrBeast’s popularity in the social media spaces. MrBeast who launched a new product several months ago, has decided to raise his game from being a social media influencer to becoming a partner with an NBA team.
This time it is the Charlotte Hornets have agreed to a sponsorship deal with the famous influencer, in what appears to be the first time a franchise is having such a deal with an individual in the NBA.
What is “Feastables” by MrBeast?
Jimmy Donaldson, known as “MrBeast,” has officially launched and started selling products under his new brand, Feastables. The brand currently offers a range of gluten-free and plant-based chocolate bars. In a video titled “Inside an Ice Cream Factory!” on Beast Reacts, Jimmy Donaldson mentioned his plans to create his own chocolate bar brand. However, he didn’t provide any additional details for the next few months.
The chocolate bar company was originally introduced on January 29, 2022, and MrBeast officially promoted the brand in a video titled “World’s Most Dangerous Escape Room!”.
Right now, there are three chocolate bar flavors to choose from: Original Chocolate, Almond Chocolate, and Quinoa Crunch. Additionally, customers have the option to purchase a Variety Pack bundle for $49.99, which includes six bars of each flavor, totaling 18 chocolate bars.
These products are exclusively available for purchase in the United States through GoPuff, Walmart, or the official Feastables website. Every purchase also grants customers the opportunity to participate in special sweepstakes for a chance to win prizes such as a Tesla Model 3, cash, Turtle Beats headphones, a custom PC, and more.
Hornets launches jersey patch partnership with MrBeast’s ‘Feastables’
On Monday afternoon, the Charlotte Hornets announced a new jersey patch partnership with Feastables, a snack company owned by social media influencer Jimmy Donaldson who is widely known as “MrBeast”.
“This partnership is a first of its kind, and I am excited to see how creator-brands and the NBA continue to work together into the future,” said Reed Duchscher from Feastables. “The Hornets are obviously one of the most exciting teams in the NBA and are a favorite among young people, so Feastables could not be more excited to partner.”
Feastables is taking the place of LendingTree as the jersey patch sponsor for the Hornets. The online lending marketplace chose not to renew its advertising deal this summer, which had started during the 2017-18 season. Donaldson who is from Greenville, North Carolina, is renowned for his YouTube videos featuring extravagant stunts and challenges. He reportedly has the most subscribers on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and X (formerly known as Twitter) compared to any other individual.
The jersey patch, as showcased by LaMelo Ball, displays Donaldson’s MrBeast logo above the Feastables wordmark. These features are also found on the packaging of his chocolate bars, gummies, and cookies. The patch will also be visible on the uniforms of the Greensboro Swarm and Hornets Venom GT, the franchise’s G League and NBA 2K League affiliates.
