Jake Dennis explains why Max Verstappen dominated 2023 F1 season

Formula E Champion Jake Dennis recently had the privilege of taking the renowned Red Bull RB-19 for a spin in Abu Dhabi. After completing an impressive 125 laps around the Yas Marina Circuit, Dennis had the chance to experience firsthand the car that propelled the Dutchman to another victory.

When questioned about the secrets behind the car’s unparalleled success, Denis shed light on his dominance by saying, “From my side, it’s obviously very difficult to feel that because I’m coming from somewhere like Formula E. So I think, even if I drove the worst car on the grid, it would feel pretty special!”

“Nevertheless, I think the car is very sensitive to your inputs; it performs exactly what you want it to do.”

Widely recognized as one of the most formidable cars in Formula One, the RB-19 secured an astonishing 21 wins in 22 races and gathered a staggering 860 points through the Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.

As the RB-19 continues to carve its name in Formula One history, it sets the stage for a more dominant successor in the form of the RB-20. It has yet to witness the trail of consistent victories the car has to offer in the next season.
