The Miami Dolphins are set to face off against the Houston Texans in a preseason game on Saturday. Both teams are now busy in Houston for joint practices to try and get to know their upcoming opponents better. Amid the training camp session, the Dolphins veteran Tua Tagovailoa updated about some of the team’s activities off the field.
Tua shed light on the type of activities the Dolphins squad does to bond during this preseason when they do not have to embrace the burden of the football field. He revealed Miami’s off-field activities included going for a dinner night and watching movies while having high praises for one of the films he enjoyed recently.
“Sound of Freedom” left Tua Tagovailoa impressed and speechless
While talking to the reporters at his weekly press conference, Tagovailoa heaped praise on the “Sound of Freedom” movie and urged others to see the movie, especially the parents saying, “Sound of Freedom’ is good. Yeah, ‘Sound of Freedom’ is definitely really good. You guys should watch that. Especially you guys with kids.”

The 25-year-old said they watched “Oppenheimer” as well. After getting released in July, the “Sound of Freedom” movie has already earned more than $173 million, marking it as one of the highest-grossing independent movies of the past few years. The film tells the story of a former U.S. government agent Tim Ballard who left his job to embark on Operation Underground Railroad to bravely rescue some kids from sex traffickers.
How long has Tua played for the Dolphins?
After getting selected fifth overall by Miami in the 2020 NFL Draft, Tua has played all three seasons for the franchise. He recorded 1035 passing yards along with eight touchdowns as well as three interceptions throughout the four matches he has played this season.
The signal-caller suffered several head injuries throughout the 2022 season and missed five games last year due to two different concussions while the severe one happened in Cincinnati. The NFL later introduced VICIS Zero2 Matrix, a position-specific helmet for quarterbacks, to ensure more protection for them.
