Lando Norris finally had time to relax after a long and challenging season in his MCL60, and he found an effective method for doing so. The 2023 Formula 1 season showcased many ups and downs for the Briton, but the biggest highlight was his battle with Oscar Piastri for more podiums and better finishes.
While Oscar Piastri secured a win before Lando, it didn’t deter the McLaren driver from giving his best until the last race. A glimpse of Lando Norris’s grit was evident during his battle with the much superior Red Bull of Perez.
Lando Norris spotted in his Lamborghini Miura
Lando Norris is one of the few drivers who love collecting cars, particularly classic machines that command exorbitant prices. While he already possesses a notable collection, including cars gifted by McLaren, his attention was drawn to a rare beauty that he wished to add to his assemblage.
The Lamborghini Miura, built under the direction of Ferruccio Lamborghini, is considered one of the earliest sports cars and a remarkable supercar of its time. The production of the Miura has been discontinued for quite some time, which has made it a rare and exotic vehicle.
Lando Norris, on the other hand, is fortunate enough to own a Lamborghini Miura. He decided to sell his iconic Fiat Jolly and upgrade to a $1.4 million Miura. A total of 350 Miuras were produced, and Lando openly showcased his return to Monaco without any attempts to hide it from the public eye.
Lando was seen driving off after shopping in his special Lamborghini, leaving the streets of Moncao stupefied and the social media on fire.
Fans speculate the reason for McLaren driver’s shopping spree
Lando Norris seems to have taken inspiration from Lewis Hamilton as he went on a shopping spree, but instead of big estate, he brought numerous items. His new hobby left fans bewildered as they tried to speculate on the reason behind all the bags and new stuff Lando acquired.
One of the fans attributed the festive season coming up, @Rosisarose1 claimed that it was for Christmas, “Just some light Christmas shopping probably”.
Many fans took a more corporate approach and claimed that Lando just got a bonus, @Jade said, “When the end of season bonus hits.”
His elegant Lamborghini Miura didn’t go by unnoticed, as one user commented on the fact that Lando Norris has a much better company car than him, “You have a much nicer company car than I do.”
Lando Norris will be looking forward to 2024 after getting applauded by Max Verstappen as a rival this year. What do you think about McLaren’s next season? Will he be consistent on the front row of the grid?
