When will Jey Uso return to WWE? Revealing the timeline for former right hand man of Roman Reigns

Jey Uso shocked the world when he quit WWE during an episode of SmackDown a few weeks ago. Since then, it has been speculated when or if he was ever going to return to the company. His absence was short-lived, as he made his return at Payback this past Saturday.

Jey Uso was betrayed by the only person who has been on his side this whole time, none other than Jimmy Uso, his own brother. After pinning Roman Reigns at Money In The Bank 2023 in the Bloodline Civil War match, Jey earned a title shot at SummerSlam against The Trible Chief. However, Jimmy Uso attacked Jey just as he was about to win the match. Following this shocking betrayal, Jey quit SmackDown after taking out the entire Bloodline by himself.

WWE spoils Jey Uso’s return

Jey Uso surprisingly made his return to WWE Television at Payback last Saturday, when Cody Rhodes announced that he used his influence to trade in the former Bloodline member to Monday Night RAW. However, a few days before his return at Payback, WWE seemingly spoiled Jey’s return themselves.

A few days before the Payback event, WWE advertised Jey Uso for their Fastlane event on October 7. Among the other stars who were promoted for the event, Jey Uso’s name was mentioned. Some eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot this, which in turn heightened their belief that Jey would be making his return soon.

With Roman Reigns being absent from Fastlane as well, it might be a good opportunity to have the Uso twins take the stage. They have even expressed their desire to fight against each other at WrestleMania, which makes it all the more worthwhile to continue this feud.

Some of the superstars who are advertised for Fastlane are Cody Rhodes, Asuka, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Rhea Ripley, and Bobby Lashley.

Jey declared his WWE exit earlier last month

After Jimmy Uso’s shocking betrayal, Jey Uso arrived on SmackDown to confront his brothers. Jimmy told him that he turned against Jey in order to prevent him from becoming a tyrant like Roman Reigns. He also said that he didn’t do anything for Roman’s sake, but for the sake of his own brother.

But no matter what explanation he could give to Jey, it wouldn’t have been enough. There was no one else on Jey’s side anymore, and quite frankly, it looked like he had enough of the family drama.

Jey Uso proceeded to lay out Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns with superkicks. When his brother tried to stop him at ringside, he took out Jimmy with a superkick as well. Jey then declared that he was quitting SmackDown and WWE and walked out of the arena.

Now that he’s officially back in the company and on the red brand, it’s more or less guaranteed that Jey Uso will cross paths again with The Bloodline and his brother in particular.

Stay tuned for further updates on Jey Uso and his feud with The Bloodline.
