When will Roman Reigns return to WWE programming?

Roman Reigns, the current WWE Undisputed Champion and leader of The Bloodline, has held the title for a record-breaking 1300 days since 2020 when he first won it from Braun Strowman.

The Tribal Chief maintains a part-time schedule in WWE, allowing him breaks between events to avoid burnout. Reigns is confirmed to appear in a match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on January 27, 2024, and fans are eagerly anticipating his presence in WWE before the event.

When will Roman Reigns return to WWE programming?

Roman Reigns is currently in the Smackdown roster along with his cousins Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. Reigns has been making less appearances on WWE since his Championship reign.

Last month WWE announced the schedules for the upcoming Smackdown featuring Reigns. As per the schedule Reigns is set to return to this week’s special edition of Friday Night Smackdown named as the New Year’s Revolution Smackdown.

Reigns has been absent from WWE programming since December 2023, where he was attacked by AJ Styles, who returned to WWE after 3 months of injury. On the same episode of Smackdown, the General Manager, Nick Aldis, booked a triple threat match among LA Knight, Randy Orton and AJ styles for the number 1 contender for WWE Undisputed Championship. Reigns is expected to return to this week’s Friday Night Smackdown episode not only to celebrate the New Year, but to acknowledge the WWE Universe as the WWE Undisputed Champion.

Roman Reigns reacts to The Rock’s call-out

The Rock made his return to WWE today in the special edition of Monay Night RAW, Day 1. The Rock had a segment with the former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal. After the segment, The Rock hinted at a potential feud with the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, by referencing the phrase ‘Head of the Table,’ which is used to define Reigns’s WWE Undisputed Championship reign.

Although The Rock didn’t mention Reigns directly, he subtly alluded to him. After the show, Reigns took to social media, tweeting a post with a single laughing emoji. Reigns’ message was cryptic, not mentioning any names, but fans are speculating that his reaction is in response to The Rock and that Reigns perceives The Rock as not being a threat to his Championship reign.

There are many speculation revolving around WWE, regarding which superstar will dethrone Reigns. And now the list has been updated with Rock’s name on it and Reigns has to give his best and fight with full intensity to remain as the Head Of The Table.
