Where is WrestleMania XL taking place? Cardi B offers interesting take on her attending WWE event in 2024

With WrestleMania 39 and most of this year’s Premium Live Events behind us, WWE seems to be gearing up for next year’s April Extravaganza. Tickets for the event went on sale last month, with many fans already planning trips and scouting to secure the best seats for the biggest event of the year.

This year’s Mania broke several records, notably becoming the most viewed WrestleMania of all time. The match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, in particular, garnered millions of views online in less than a day. This has also generated immense hype for WrestleMania XL. Additionally, Brock Lesnar is rumoured to be retiring at the event, which makes it even more awaited by the fans.

Where is WrestleMania XL taking place?

WrestleMania XL is scheduled to take place next year in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Lincoln Financial Field. Similar to the past few years, the event will span two nights, on April 6 and 7 respectively.

Tickets for next year’s April Extravaganza went on sale on August 18. According to WWE’s official website, its Priority Pass Packages for WrestleMania XL surpassed their records in less than a week. Additionally, this marks the first time WWE is hosting The Show of Shows at the Philadelphia Eagles’ Lincoln Financial Field. The last time the April Extravaganza took place in Philadelphia was in 1999 at WrestleMania XV, held at the First Union Center.

Cody Rhodes was seen visiting the venue for WrestleMania XL last month, apparently building hype ahead of its ticket sales. Furthermore, Philadelphia is the hometown of WWE’s resident Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar, who is rumored to retire in his hometown at The Show of Shows next year. While nothing is confirmed yet, there are also rumors of a Jimmy vs. Jey Uso match at next year’s WrestleMania.

Cardi B shares an intriguing take on going to WrestleMania XL

The multi-award-winning rapper Cardi B recently shared her thoughts on the possibility of attending WrestleMania XL next year in Philadelphia. It might be unknown to many, but Cardi B was actually a wrestling fan during her upbringing. She admired wrestlers such as Batista and the late Eddie Guerrero.

Many celebrities have made appearances or wrestled in WWE before, with the most recent being the Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, who had a significant role in WWE. Cardi B, on the other hand, has her own connections to the Stamford-based promotion. Her 2021 hit song ‘Up’ was used as the official theme song for SummerSlam that year.

Appearing on Hot 97 with Peter Rosenberg, Cardi B was asked if she would appear at WrestleMania 40 next year or do something similar to what Bad Bunny did in the company. She praised Bad Bunny for his work in WWE and expressed her desire to attend next year’s Mania. According to her, even though her body was in poor condition after having her second baby, she would love to attend the show, whether she has to perform or compete in a match.

Apparently, it has been a long-time dream of hers, as she used to be a huge fan of WWE during her upbringing. Although nothing is confirmed as of now, it’s entirely possible for Cardi B to make an appearance at WrestleMania XL next year. As mentioned before, many superstars and celebrities have crossed over to WWE in the past. We just need to wait and see if Cardi B’s wish comes true next year.
