Ronaldo’s enviable UCL record
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Champions League record is second to none. Apart from winning the Champions League five times (once with Manchester United and four times with Real Madrid), Cristiano Ronaldo also holds the record for the most appearances in the competition. According to UEFA, Ronaldo has made 183 appearances in the Champions League during his stints at United, Real Madrid, and Juventus.
Ronaldo also tops the goalscoring chart in the top-flight European competition with 140 goals, 11 more than his closest rival, Lionel Messi. Ironically, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored his first and last Champions League goal for Manchester United despite playing for other teams like Real Madrid and Juventus in Europe. His first goal came against Roma in 2007, while his last came against Villareal in November 2021.
