Who is Carlos Alcaraz’s brother? meet the 11-year-old tennis ace who chose a different idol than Wimbledon 2023 champ

Tennis has seen magical siblinghood on the court- Williams sisters, Murray brothers, McEnroe brothers and so many more. It looks like the Alcaraz brothers could possibly be the next best power duo joining this club. Even though Carlos Alcaraz’s younger brother Jaime is just 11 years old, he seems to know his way around the tennis field and could potentially become a snag for his brother, the current world number one.

Considering Jaime’s age, he has an excellent coach/training partner in his elder brother to prepare for dominating the Tennis court one day. Having already made his name in the singles field, Carlos can now prepare his brother to dominate the doubles world as well!

Who is Carlos Alcaraz’s brother?

Jaime Alcaraz is one of the 4 Alcaraz siblings who has been spotted in the box of almost every Carlitos match. While Jaime gets a chance to show his love and support for his elder brother from the box, it looks like the 11-year-old is also gauging his future competition.

The young Jaime is apparently already dominating the under-12 tennis field. Pretty much every video of this kid playing tennis is a display of pure talent and passion for the sport. His footwork is already spectacular and it also looks like he has picked up his brother’s way of moving close to the net.

Carlos Alcaraz’s brother preferred Dominic Thiem as his idol over his Wimbledon champ sibling

Having a champion brother like Carlos would probably be a ‘dream come true’ for many. However, it looks like Jaime isn’t choosing the world number one as his favorite tennis player.

Jaime was seen to be using Dominic Thiem’s Pure Strike racquet instead of his own brother’s Pure Aero and the Austrian was quick to point this out. Carlos then stated, “he loves you!! You are his idol”.

Dominic Thiem full of praise for Carlos Alcaraz's achievements, calls him the new face of tennis

Carlos Alcaraz has become a player that is already showing signs of securing a place among or even surpassing the big 3. At 20 years of age, he has gained strong adaptability and tennis brilliance while continuing to charm the crowd with the way he carries himself both on the court and off the court. As Jaime grows up under the same roof as this star, Tennis enthusiasts could anticipate another championship-level athlete down the line.
