Chueko served in Iraq and Afghanistan, with the former soldier also having experience in MMA as a professional fighter. According to Marca, the fans’ recent craving for selfies and the frenzy surrounding Messi’s arrival at the MLS prompted David Beckham to choose Chueko to protect arguably his most prized asset, Lionel Messi.
Chueko has been seen following the Argentine around the stadium and team buses. He’s even on the sidelines and keeping an eye open for potential threats to Messi.
