F1 fans pay respect to the fallen feline

Formulino had become a regular at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in recent years. But this year Formula 1 and all its spectators couldn’t see the good luck beaking cat as the Emilia Romagna GP was cancelled this year due to extreme weather and flooding, which Furmulion survived. Fans were saddened by this news, as they, along with many insiders, had fallen in love with the fur ball.

Fans have expressed remorse on social media and showered out condolences for Formulion. One fan commented, “It’s a pity that Formulino couldn’t see the last race of his life this year at Imola, he survived the floods but never got to meet the drivers again.”

The cat had an instagram account too where the admin had posted a picture while expressing his saddnes and greif and said “It’s hard to find the right words in times like these. After more than sixteen years the day we hoped would never come is here, and our beloved Arturo has left us. It’s like a part of us has been taken away with him. He was a member of the Formula Imola family, the first to arrive when the offices opened and the last to leave at sunset after punching his time-card.

Our mascot, therapist and snack buddy filled our working days with joy. There is no Motorsport lover who will not remember him, ready to welcome anyone arriving at the racetrack direction building.”

We will miss you more than we can express. You will always be our Formulino.

What do you think about Sebastian Vettel’s curse? And do let us know your memories of the fur ball.
