Who is on The Undertaker’s Mt. Rushmore list of WWE managers?

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker recently revealed his Mount Rushmore list of wrestling managers who were the best in their time. The Deadman revealed this list in a video uploaded to his official YouTube podcast channel named “Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway“.

The WWE Legend included Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan, Captain Lou Albano, Jim Cornette, and Paul Heyman on his Mount Rushmore list of wrestling managers. However, The Phenom didn’t initially list Paul Bearer among the four names, despite their close association throughout their careers.

In the latter part of the video, The Deadman surprised everyone by stating that Paul Bearer was “the whole damn mountain.” Bearer served as his manager throughout the 1990s, except for the storyline where he turned heel on The Phenom.

“I did not mention one guy, and that would’ve been Paul Bearer. I didn’t mention Paul Bearer because, in my eyes and my heart, Paul Bearer is the whole damn mountain,” The Undertaker said after naming his Mount Rushmore of wrestling managers.

In the whole wrestling scenario, these managers played a pivotal role in making the storyline more intense and engaging. Paul Bearer was responsible for more than 3 big storylines in ‘Taker’s career which resulted in many iconic WWE matches.

Who managed The Undertaker in WWE?

Throughout The Undertaker’s entire career, he was managed by two WWE managers: Paul Heyman and Paul Bearer. Paul Heyman managed The Deadman in WCW during the Great American Bash in 1990. However, Paul Bearer was consistently by the Hall of Famer’s side during the 1990s.

Bearer was one of the darkest personalities that the WWE Universe had ever witnessed. He managed The Deadman in some of his most iconic storylines, including a unique stint of carrying The Undertaker’s urn and using it to call The Deadman to rise.

Sadly, the legendary WWE manager passed away on March 5, 2013, due to a heart attack. It was reported that he had a dangerously fast heart rhythm at the time of his passing. According to Bearer’s family members, he had a history of medical issues, both physical and mental.

It was also noted that he had struggled with obesity and had undergone gastric bypass surgery to address his issues. Regrettably, his efforts to combat his obesity problem were in vain as he passed away before completing the full treatment.

The Undertaker gave a tribute to Paul Bearer at his farewell match at Survivor Series 2020. The Phenom did his signature pose inside the ring, and a hologram of Paul Bearer appeared. To date, it is one of the best tributes ever given in WWE.
