After the team’s 26-9 win over the Arizona Cardinals, the LA Rams team found themselves in hot water due to their player Derion Kendrick.

Derion Kendrick reportedly facing felony gun charges after his arrest
Derion Kendrick had his car pulled over for a traffic infraction, and during the search, the police found marijuana and a gun in his vehicle, according to TMZ. Subsequently, the cornerback was taken into custody early on Monday morning on a felony weapon carrying charge.
The former Georgia star was scheduled for 2:14 a.m., and by mid-afternoon, there was no indication that he had been released.
After acknowledging the arrest of his team’s standout cornerback, head coach Sean McVay of the Rams said that the team is investigating the matter. However, he declined to provide any details about Kendrick’s arrest, arguing that it would not be proper for him to talk about topics about which he was not fully informed.
“We’re continuing to gather more information. And so, until then, I’m going to just kind of leave it at that until I have all the appropriate information. And I don’t think it would be appropriate for me to speak on things that I don’t have the totality of it other than knowing that he was arrested early this morning.”
In addition, the head coach fielded inquiries on his availability for the Rams game the following week. However, McVay again declined to provide any information about it.
“Until I have all of the information, it’s hard for me to answer anything further with regards to his status, any of those types of things.”
Derion had two tackles in 68 snaps of action against the Cardinals. His availability for the Rams’ Week 7 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers is still unknown.
