Rebecca Adelman reportedly entered the courtroom and carried a basketball, during the hearing. She argued that Ja Morant’s athleticism is greatly considerable in the case. Adelman said, “Look at that arm! That is the arm, that is the kind of force, that force, that came at Mr. Holloway.”
Back in July 2022, Ja Morant had allegedly punched a teenager (Joshua Halloway), while the duo were playing a basketball game. Though Ja Morant didn’t release any statement on the case, his lawyer Keenan Carter, had claimed that the former Rookie of the year acted in self-defense.
