Logan Paul has become one of the most prominent figures in the digital world. Whether showcasing versatility in acting or stepping into the boxing ring for real fights, he has made a significant impact on his fans. The renowned YouTuber is currently signed to WWE, and controversies or news about him continue to make headlines.
Many fans recall the initiation of the rivalry between Jake Paul and Nate Diaz, with the official result announcement of their fight on August 5, 2023. However, the excitement surrounding the event surpassed the actual action captured on camera, where Diaz put a chokehold on ‘Not Logan Paul.’
Who is ‘Not Logan Paul’?
WWE United States champion Logan Paul once found himself in the news, when he learned he got choked by Nate Diaz and was unaware of it. Many fans started to troll Logan for messing with Diaz, who is proficient in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, yet Logan attempted to provoke him on the streets.
The incident video circulated widely, reaching many combat sports legends. Except for the Paul brothers, everyone else found humor in the incident of Jake Paul’s brother getting choked out on the street.
But was it really Logan Paul? Well, it was his lookalike, whose real name is Rodney Petersen. Rodney is a fan of Paul and has tried to copy almost everything about the WWE United States champion.
The incident occurred at the Misfits Boxing event when Petersen confronted Diaz after the fight, and in a short span, a knee to the stomach from Nate followed by a choke quickly brought him to the ground. It’s likely that he came to New Orleans last year to confront Nate, expecting to engage with Jake Paul, who is the brother of Logan Paul.
