Who is Trevor Lawrence wife Marissa bashing fan for claiming she is only with Jaguars QB for money?

A couple of years ago, Trevor Lawrence had become a household name in the college football circuits. The Clemson Graduate lit up the NCAA with his rocket arm and pinpoint accuracy. This was also the reason he was picked up first overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021.

Since then, he has come good on all the promise showed during his formative years and has been a stable QB1 for the Jags becoming one of the highest paid players on their roster. However, his wife, Marissa, is now in the news for berating a fan on social media.

Who is Trevor Lawrence wife Marissa?

Trevor Lawrence’s wife Marissa was a high-school athlete who continued her prowess even during her college days in Clemson, where coincidentally she met Trevor. Sources close to the couple indicate that the two have been inseparable ever since they started dating in 2016.

The two have admitted in public that they owe a lot to their alma mater. In fact, the couple got engaged on the Clemson University Football Ground. Trevor and Marissa got married on April 10, 2021, in a quaint little ceremony in South Carolina.

Ever since 2021, Marissa has been a regular attendee at Trevor Lawrence’s games, be it home or away. She is regularly seen out and about with her posse of NFL wives and girlfriends. Marissa Mowry is an event planner by profession. In 2021, she joined a company called Love, Gigi Event Designs, and has been with them ever since.

Trevor Lawrence wife Marissa bashes NFL fan over IG comment

In a recent post made by Trevor Lawrence on Instagram, wishing his beloved wife her 24th birthday, a user left a distasteful comment that irked Marissa to a great extent per NY Post. The user said, “@marissa_lawrence hope God takes your man. Incompetent. You’re only in it for the money anyway.”

The comment made Marissa question the user’s intentions, which she pointed out later on her Instagram stories. Taking a screenshot of the horrible comment, she said, “I don’t usually post this stuff but this is not okay. Please report this account.”

This kind of behavior is usually seen on Instagram accounts where the actual owner is in the public eye more often than not, such as athletes and models. This fiasco can be attributed to a desperate attempt to gain attention by commenting something so ghastly that it pulls the viewer away from the actual motive of the post.

Safe to say that Marissa made the right move in asking fellow netizens to report the account and put an end to the situation before it escalated to something more than a threat.
