Who will partner with John Cena at WWE Fastlane? Exploring the possible candidates to team up with the 16-time world champion

John Cena and AJ Style joined hands on the latest episode of the Blue Brand of WWE. They were very close to making The Bloodline members run for their money by signing an official contract for the upcoming WWE Fastlane.

However, things didn’t go as planned, with AJ Style getting ambushed backstage by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. This has now led to uncertainty as the Cenation Leader is now left without a tag team partner for the upcoming event.

John Cena left without a partner at WWE Fastlane

On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, a contract signing for WWE Fastlane took place. It was for a match between John Cena and AJ Styles vs. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. While Cena signed right away,  AJ Styles fell victim to Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. Jimmy and Solo Sikoa took Styles out in the backstage area with a ferocious attack.

Even though John Cena rushed backstage, he was still pretty late to the rescue and had to see AJ Styles in a bad state. That left Cena without a partner for Fastlane, so while the match is official now, the Cenation Leader will have to bring a partner to compete in the upcoming Fastlane event. If he can’t get a partner before the event, then he might be in trouble, as The Bloodline is quite formidable, even for the Greatest of All Time.

Possible partners for John Cena

John Cena is left without a tag team partner for WWE Fastlane. With AJ Styles getting ambushed just a moment before signing the contract with him for the upcoming tag team match against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso which would be held on Fastlane. However, with AJ Style being not able to participate at Fastlane 3 probable superstars might fill his shoes.

The first superstar who has the highest chance is none other than Randy Orton aka The Viper. There are several rumors and reports regarding his return after almost one and a half years. Recently one clip even solidified his return rumor as The Legend Killer was seen in the WWE training centre. If he joins hands with Cena in the Fastlane then the match will be a treat for WWE fans. As Orton had his last rivalry with The Bloodline, there is a high possibility of him picking it up from where he left it.

The second superstar who could replace Style in the Fastlane is the present babyface of WWE Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare will be a good replacement considering his similarity with John Cena as both are babyfaces in the Stamford-based promotion. Cody also has some scores left to settle with The Bloodline.

The third superstar on the list is the easiest one to pick as he has ongoing issues with both Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. That star is none other than Jey Uso. A few weeks ago, Jey Uso left WWE SmackDown with the wound of betrayal received from his brother Jimmy at SummerSlam 2023. This is more than enough for a reason to join hands with Cena.

Although, there is no confirmation of who might become John Cena’s partner at Fastlane. But, these superstars are the most likely ones.
