Why did Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol rematch negotiations collapse?
Presently, Alvarez’s attention is directed towards his upcoming match against Jermell Charlo scheduled for September 30 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas as part of a Showtime PPV event.
During a recent interview about his upcoming fight, the Mexican superstar also commented on the possibility of a rematch with the Kirghiz boxer as a potential resolution to their rivalry.
“I tried but he started asking for things and it made everything hard. Then I thought the best option was to move and start working with PBC. I’d like to have that rematch, but right now we can’t do that.” Canelo said.
