Why did Carlos Sainz not take part in Qatar GP? Reviewing the Spaniard’s setback

Carlos Sainz has proved to be a marvelous driver after a significant amount of time. His win in the Singapore Grand Prix ended years of Verstappen’s dominance, breaking his 10-winning consecutive streak.

Carlos is known for relying on his brainpower rather than physical abilities in races. Although he wasn’t born with the same natural talent as Charles, Carlos has developed certain techniques to secure victory in races. However, he was unable to participate in the Qatar Grand Prix due to technical issues.

Reason for Carlos Sainz not taking part in Qatar GP

An hour before the race, Carlos suddenly declared his inability to participate. When asked for the reason, a spokesperson confirmed that a severe technical issue had arisen during the car’s build-up. Unfortunately, the issue would take too much time to fix, and the race would end before then. Therefore, Carlos simply withdrew from the race.

The spokesman said, “Due to a fuel system issue on his car, Carlos will not take part in the Qatar Grand Prix.”

As saddening the truth was, his former teammate Charles Leclerc would have to carry the show by himself, as he gets to set to line up fifth, behind Fernando Alonso.

Sainz congratulates Max Verstappen

After the sprint race in the Qatar Gp, all drivers heaped praises on Max Verstappen, congratulating him for his remarkable third title in the Championship.

Even though there is heated competition between the drivers of Formula One on the grid, off the grid they only want the best for each other, as apart from being competitors, they have known each other for years as well.

Drivers such as Charles Leclerc, Esteban Ocon, Alexander Albon, Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz were fairly impressed by the Dutchman. However, it was not much of a surprise to them, as it was Max Verstappen, the King of Formula One, they were talking about.

Carlos added when others were complimenting Max, by saying “I congratulate him. He’s done a perfect year and hopefully next year we’re gonna give him more of a fight.”

It was truly a delightful scene to watch the drivers get euphoric on Verstappen’s ultimate victory.
