After a shocking betrayal from his own brother Jimmy at SummerSlam, Jey Uso finally had enough of the family drama. After laying out the entire group, Jey declared that he would be leaving SmackDown and WWE, a move that most people were probably not expecting.
At SummerSlam this last week, Jey Uso took on the tyrannical Roman Reigns in an attempt to dethrone him in a Tribal Combat match. Just as it looked like victory was in his hands, Jey was pulled out of the ring by a mystery attacker. The attacker revealed himself to be none other than Jey’s own brother, Jimmy. This move ultimately ended up costing Jey the match and his chance to replace Reigns as the Tribal Chief.
Jey Uso left WWE after brother Jimmy’s betrayal
On SmackDown this week, following the betrayal, Jimmy told Jey that he didn’t betray him to join back The Bloodline nor did he do it to let Roman win. He actually intervened so that Jey wouldn’t eventually turn into the person that Roman has now become. He said that he didn’t want Jey to turn into an egoistical coward, which would ruin their relationship as well.

However, the whole situation quickly escalated into a brawl. Jey singlehandedly took out Roman and Solo. He then took out Jimmy as well with a superkick at the ramp. After laying out his brothers, Jey looked to the camera and declared that he is leaving SmackDown and WWE. This act of defiance could be a huge turning point in The Bloodline Saga, as there is now no one left to stand up to Roman Reigns.
However, It’s safe to say that this storyline is far from over and fans probably haven’t seen the last of Jey Uso in WWE. This might very well be another plot point to bring back Rikishi in WWE, or some other Samoan family members.
It might have been an impulsive decision by Jey, as he has always been the emotional one in The Usos. It has been rumored that WWE might have Jimmy Uso face off against Jey Uso at Payback. That may very well happen, as Jey leaving WWE is probably a part of their 3-year-long storyline.
Wrestling fans react to Jey Uso’s departure from WWE
Jey Uso laying out the entire Bloodline and walking out of WWE has caused quite a stir in the wrestling industry. It garnered the attention of fans and WWE wrestlers alike. While a lot of the fans look excited to see the aftermath of Jey’s actions next week on SmackDown, some think that it’s just a way for WWE to “milk” the storyline to next year.

Interesting could set up a triple threat match with Reigns & Jimmy down the line at a PPE https://t.co/KYi5cJa3Iu

Some fans have even speculated that this might eventually lead to Jey Uso facing Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns in a Triple Threat match somewhere down the line. This sounds like an epic way to conclude the entire Bloodline saga.
In case this happens, Jimmy might help his brother dethrone Reigns in order to make amends, and a new Tribal Chief would be crowned. This would be an epic conclusion to next year’s WrestleMania.
