Roman Reigns is the face of SmakDown Live, and he wants everybody to acknowledge that, but the blue brand GM Nick Aldis has other plans for Reigns. Aldis booked the fatal 4-way match for the Undisputed Universal Championship on Royal Rumble and Roman was pissed off with his decision.
The Head of the Table has made it clear that he dislikes Nick Aldis, and he is soon going to fix it. In the recent episode of SmackDown, both came face to face, and Roman made it simple that every decision should go through him as he is The Tribal Chief.
Why Roman Reigns doesn’t like Nick Aldis?
Roman Reigns, the leader of the Bloodline faction, holds the record of being the title champion for 1239 days. The Undisputed Universal Champion wants everybody to acknowledge his authority, but SmackDown GM Nick Aldis has several times pitted his faction members, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, against his Royal Rumble contenders Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Aldis forced Reigns to sign his fatal 4-way match contact and threatened to vacant his title if he refused to follow his order. Later that night, ‘The Tribal Chief’ attacked Randy Orton, who RKO’d LA Knight and AJ Styles, with a ‘Superman Punch’. Then he got the contract from Nick, who was ringside, and signed it.
Recently, Nick Aldis shared a post on Twitter, where Roman Reigns was seen in a video clip threatening the GM, and saying that they would ‘figure it out’ and ‘fix’ Nick soon. Even the Wiseman of the Bloodline faction, Paul Heyman took to Instagram where he said, “Nick Aldis pisses me off.”
Aldis not happy with the clip, as he wrote, “IMHO, it might be in your best interest to focus on 3 elite level @WWE Superstars trying to take your title at the #RoyalRumble…LIVE This Saturday on @peacock”
Wrestling fans enjoy Roman Reigns-Nick Aldis’ heated feud
WWE fans are excited about the upcoming fight in the Royal Rumble 2024 at Tropicana Field in Tampa, Florida. Some fans are hoping to see a new rivalry form between Roman Reigns and Nick Aldis, as both are dominant. A fan wrote, “Aldis is the on-screen authority figure that WWE needed for SEVERAL years.”
Fans on Twitter shared their view on the Aldis and Roman feud. Another fan wrote on Twitter, “Nick Aldis Ain’t playing with Roman Reigns WHATSOEVER. This man is the best #SmackDown GM since Teddy Long himself.”
During an interview with The Bump, Aldis said that Roman can only fix his situation by winning his match in Royal Rumble and there is no other way to revert that. He said, “Roman Reigns being agitated is pretty far down in my list of priorities. I’m not really sure what he means by ‘fix it.’ There’s no fixing to be done. The way you fix this, Roman, is by proving your worth and emerging victorious at the Royal Rumble.”
