Tom Brady has made a big list of records with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The quarterback took himself to such a height in his prolonged 23-season career that the other signal-callers in the NFL will have to toil hard to reach him, and seemingly, his GOAT title will not be able to be stolen anytime soon.
After hanging up his cleats, Brady is busy with his family, business, and podcast. However, the NFL community had not yet overcome the charm of the three-time NFL MVP as they once again rallied on social media to don the Cincinnati Bengals and lead them following Joe Burrow’s season-ending injury.
Tom Brady says he can’t return to the NFL due to this one reason
TB12 has been sharing his football insights in his SiriusXM podcast “Let’s Go with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray”. During an episode of the podcast, the veteran had popular YouTube star MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, as a guest whom he asked for tips on how to increase the reach of the podcast.
Mr. Beast suggested that the former NFL star make an announcement about his decision to come out of retirement and return to playing football. Though Brady sometimes teases fans with a comeback rumor, he clarified his stance saying he is “not coming out of retirement.”
The 15-time Pro Bowler also shared a reason behind his firm take, saying his family wouldn’t like it. The vet hilariously continued his response, saying his parents and kids would “kill” him if he ever thought of another unretirement decision.
“My parents would call, my kids would call. They’d kill me. I wouldn’t be around by tonight. As I said, you’re only allowed one un-retirement. And I’ve used it up,” he said via Business Insider.
Apart from the fun banter, Brady will hit fifty after four years, and his performance in the last season with the Bucs shows a diminishing stat as well. After being marked as arguably the best QB for more than two decades, it was the best decision for him to retire in good form.
Bengals fans urge team to call Tom Brady
After being embroiled in a losing streak, the Bengals geared themselves up for a while before once again losing multiple games. Now, as Burrow is done with the season, Cincy fans can think of nothing but a worse season ahead.
With a 5-5 record, the Bengals are now sitting at the last spot of the AFC North, and some netizens think Brady can pull the team from its misfortune by leading it for the rest of the season.
A person wrote,” The season doesn’t have to be over, Cincinnati Bengals fans. @TomBrady could use some more jewelry.”
Cincy has faced recent struggles, although its roster is brimming with talented players on the offensive who can wreak havoc on the rival side. TB12 has been popular for his intense competitive mindset on the field, and some fans said he might once again get involved in the game battle with the Bengals fierce O-line troops.
A netizen wrote, “It will be interesting to see if Tom Brady would be interested in Bengals run for one season with some offensive weapons they have.”
The Las Vegas Raiders have sought out the seven-time Super Bowl champion before signing Jimmy Garoppolo. Some NFL fans urged the Bengals to follow the approach to lure the veteran to take a U-turn.

Meanwhile, it is not the first time fans of a particular franchise have urged Brady to unretire. Following the potential season-ending injury of Aaron Rodgers in week 1, New York Jets fans reached out to the 46-year-old star to lead Gang Green. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings fans also followed the same approach after their signal-caller Kirk Cousins’ season ended with an injury. Seemingly, the NFL community will not be able to move on from Tom Brady anytime soon.
