Why was CM Punk seen in Orlando, near WWE Performance Center location? Debunking the rumors surrounding the recent AEW release

CM Punk has been making it to the headlines every week after his termination from AEW. The reason behind his termination was his backstage brawl with AEW wrestler Jack Perry after AEW All In event.

Following his termination, several rumors began circulating. However, Punk has once again sparked return rumors as he was seen in Orlando, and coincidentally, WWE’s Performance Center is also located in the same city.

CM Punk spotted in Orlando

CM Punk’s recent termination from AEW has sparked many rumors of him joining WWE. Although there has been no official communication between the recruiting team of WWE and Punk. However, fans are getting some coincidental teases and are creating some theories of their own. These theories are also making the rumors more reliable.

Recently, a PWInsider got a note from a reader and the reader mentioned on that note that he spotted CM Punk and Ace Steel together in Orlando. Surprisingly, the WWE Performance Center is also situated in Orlando. Previously Randy Orton was seen there.

According to the PWInsider report, Punk and Steel were seen at Orlando’s Universal Studios which is not that far from WWE’s Performance Center. The reader wrote on the note: “I just wanted to let you all know that I saw CM Punk and Ace Steel while I was at work at Universal Studios earlier today. So he is in Orlando.”

Real reason of Punk’s Orlando appearance

As CM Punk was seen in Orlando, fans might be hoping that the superstar might have been in the Performance Center. Unfortunately, that was not the reason. According to the recent report of Fightful Select, Punk didn’t visit the Performance Center.

The Second City Saint did commentary for a Cage Fury Fighting Championship event yesterday night in Tampa. It was also mentioned that they might have just taken a stop in Orlando as it was just two hours away from Tampa. Also, Ace Steel was seen with Punk for the most probable reason of Punk visiting Steel’s home in Florida.

But still, there is a slim chance of Punk being in contact with WWE. During his commentary, he was seen joking about joining a new promotion and in the background, the theme music of last year’s WWE Survivor Series was being played. Most importantly, CM Punk is rumored to return in this year’s Survivor Series.
