Jey Uso, the former member of the Bloodline faction, is all set for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event on January 27, 2024. Although the match card for Jey’s entry is not official, it is expected that he will attend the battle royal as only 11 entrants have been announced.
WWE Universe is anticipating the first premium event of 2024 and some fans predicted that Jimmy Uso might interfere with Jey’s victory at the Royal Rumble. Both brothers have been at odds since Jey left the faction and Jimmy might take this chance to further explore the feud among the brothers.
Will Jimmy Uso cost Jey Uso at the Royal Rumble?
Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso have been one of the best tag teams in WWE, but after joining under ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns’s banner, they became one of the dominant heel characters within the company. This year, a distinctly possible feud might start between the brothers, as Jimmy might interfere in Jey’s match at the January 27 event.
Jey Uso decided to part ways with the Bloodline faction and even challenged Reigns in the Tribal Rule match but was defeated. During SummerSlam 2023, Jimmy Uso attacked his brother and even cost him the match.
During a WWE live show on November 2023, both brothers came face to face. After Jey made his way backstage and Jimmy entered the ring, both had an intense stare-down on the ramp, and this made the fans speculate that, in a likely scenario, Jimmy and Jey might fight each other in the future, most probably on WrestleMania 40 to conclude their story.
Although there is no certainty of the match happening anytime soon, chances are their feud might escalate on Royal Rumble 2024 and might later lead to a match in WrestleMania in April.
Jey Uso brims with pride over Bloodline’s success
Jey Uso and The Bloodline, consisting of Roman Reigns, ‘Tribal Heir’ Solo Sikoa, and Jey’s brother Jimmy Uso, have been assigned to different rosters since Jey joined WWE Monday Night Raw during last year’s WWE Payback event.
During an interview with “TNT Sports,” Jey was asked if he enjoyed the fact that he and his Bloodline teammates, Sikoa and Jimmy, were pursuing their respective careers in WWE on two different paths. Jey has admitted that he misses being with the rest of the Bloodline.
However, he enjoys watching them appear on television as a group, especially his brother Jimmy. Jey has noticed that Jimmy is now breaking out of his shell. He feels that his twin is only showing glimpses of his humorous side, which he often displays behind the scenes, on TV right now. Nevertheless, he is happy that WWE fans are starting to see that aspect of him.
“I love it, man,” Jey said. “I love it. I closed out Monday night ‘Raw’ one time, and then I saw the same week my brothers close ‘SmackDown,’ you know, [in the] main event, and I automatically text[ed] them and call[ed] them … Just recognizing what we’re doing right now. We’re here. We’re here. Bloodline still running both shows. We’re still running it, Uce. Regardless of what’s happening, I’m proud. Let’s take a beat and see what we’re doing here, man. Never in a million years would I have thought we’d be split, handling both shows,” added Jey.
