Women fighters back the promotion after Astrid Wett’s announcement to not fight on KSI’s Misfits Boxing

Influencer boxing took the sporting world by storm with names like Jake Paul, Logan Paul, and KSI leading the way. KSI’s Misfits Boxing is the major promotion for influencer boxing and they had success in 2023 with the MF & DAZN: X Series 10 – The Prime Card. KSI vs. Tommy Fury and Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul headlined the PPV.

In addition to the male influencers, female influencers also found an avenue with Misfits Boxing. However, a new controversy has erupted on the sporting scene as Astrid Wett made allegations recently against Misfits Boxing. Wett made headlines as well with allegations against Chelsea star Nicolas Jackson.

Why Astrid Wett won’t be fighting on Misfits Boxing?

Astrid Wett openly accuses Misfits Boxing of unfair treatment and financial exploitation much to the surprise of the influencer boxing community. Wett’s claims have indeed cast a shadow over the promotion owner by KSI, Mams Taylor, and brothers Kalle and Nisse Sauerland.

Wett shared her grievances in a recent video uploaded on social media where she bashed the promotion for poor treatment. The OnlyFans model fought TikToker Alexia Grace in the undercard of MF & DAZN: X Series 10 – The Prime Card and won via majority decision.

The PPV event was reported to have garnered 1.3 million PPV buys, and Wett disclosed that she only received £12,000 for her fight. It’s worth noting that, according to Wett, her preparation for the fight involved withdrawing £15,000 from her bank account. Alongside financial concerns, she also highlighted unsupportive decisions from the promotion and stressful negotiations, accusing the promotion of sexism and sex discrimination.

Even though Astrid Wett had a negative view of Misfits Boxing, it was not the sentiment shared by other female influencer boxers signed with the promotion. “I’m surprised about what Astrid is saying. I’ve been paid very well by @MisfitsBoxing and @MamsTaylor,” tweeted Jesse Lannister, voicing her support for the promotion and co-owner Mams Taylor. She also revealed the benefits she received from them via airplane tickets and show tickets.

“All I’m gonna say is @MisfitsBoxing @MamsTaylor has been so supportive and has paid me great for my fights,” tweeted Alaena Vampira, who had a similar view of Lannister. Vampira even went on to say she loves to work with the promotion due to the respect and acceptance she received.

“I can confirm that @MamsTaylor and @MisfitsBoxing pay us female fighters more than fairly and always go above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.” commented popular OnlyFans model and Adult star and influencer boxer Elle Brooke who recently got choked by Dillon Danis. Brooke went as far as accusing Wett and her team of being at fault for the problems she attributed to MisfitsBoxing.

“I fought Astrid on this card, and mams was nothing but nice as supportive”, tweeted Alexia Grace, Wett’s recent opponent. “She wants to leave the scene and has to make sure she gets a couple of views out of it. Everything she comes close to she destroys. She’s a walking bomb,” Grace went on to accuse Wett.

With the tweets from fellow female influencer boxers, it was quite evident that Misfits Boxing enjoys unconditional support from them. Astrid Wett might be an anomaly and this has also put her accusations against the Chelsea player in doubt.
