In the ever-so-exciting universe of WWE, where legends are born and rivalries are boasted, a rising star seems ready to claim her spot at the top of WWE SmackDown. Bianca Belair, with thunder striking through her veins and an unyielding desire for greatness, is on the verge of a change that will catapult her above many other female superstars on the roster.
Belair startled the WWE Fans by defeating the tag team of Bayley and Iyo Sky in a tag team match alongside Charlotte Flair in the latest episode of SmackDown. Though the bout was unbelievable, still some mishaps in the performance have got the fans angry about it.
Fans scrutinize the messed-up sequence on SmackDown
In the latest episode of WWE SmackDown Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair halted the recent momentum of Damage CTRL, knocking off Bayley and WWE Women’s champion Iyo Sky in a tag team face-off. It was a good, lengthy match, it mostly highlighted Sky and continued to tell the story of Bayley clinging to her leadership of Damage CTRL by directing the champion on what to do next. It did not work, the heels faltered later and Bayley lost the match for her team.
This might ultimately end with Bayley and Sky splitting and the future of Damage CTRL in shambles but for now, they remain united against challengers like Flair and Belair. Belair and Flair defeated Bayley and Sky.

However, there was a moment in that match where it legit gave a fake performance vibe by one of the moves delivered by Iyo Sky. She was supposed to hot tag her ring partner, Bayley, rather Sky was miraculously able to run to Bianca’s corner to attack and not do the tag. Though Iyo Sky was good on the rest of the part still fans were not happy as the moves during the match seemed fake.

Damage CTRL set for Bianca Belair rivalry
Bianca Belair has been one of the top WWE athletes over the past few years ever since she joined the main roster during the Pandemic Era. IYO SKY had a breakout performance in Puerto Rico earlier this year against Bianca. The loud reactions she received evidently reached the ears of the creative team of WWE, who decided she’d win the Money in the Bank contract and subsequently booked her to win the Women’s Championship at Summerslam 2023.
At SummerSlam 2023, Bianca Belair narrowly picked up the victory over reigning champion Asuka and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat, only to get cashed in on, not long after scoring the pinfall over The Empress. This teases a potential fiasco between Iyo and Bianca. However in the latest episode of WWE SmackDown Bianca and Charlotte defeated the Damage CTRL.

Bianca Belair recently spoke to Mike Jones about IYO SKY’s cash-in at The Biggest Party of the Summer in Detroit, Michigan; “I was champion for 90 seconds. I try to laugh about it to keep my spirits high. I always say, it still counts. At the end of the day, IYO SKY came out, she cashed in on me after I had gone through a 30-minute match with an injured knee. I’m not making excuses for it. If I was IYO SKY, I would have probably done the same thing, that’s what being Ms. Money in the Bank is all about,” Belair said.
She concluded by assuring that “vengeance” is coming the Women’s Champion’s way on Friday Night SmackDown; “I’m definitely coming after that title, I only got to hold it in my hands for 90 seconds, the brand new WWE Women’s Title, I definitely want to hold it in my hands for longer than 90 seconds. You best believe I’m coming back with a vengeance and I’m after IYO SKY for revenge,” she said. It will be interesting to see when these WWE stars will step inside the squared circle for another match.
