WWE champ Rhea Ripley found her calling in pro wrestling after witnessing one particular Triple H moment

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has been on the very top of the Women’s Division in WWE ever since she dethroned Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39 to capture the championship. Since then, she along with her Judgement Day buddies have taken over the promotion. She recently spoke about what got her into wrestling during her childhood days.

The 26-year-old Australian superstar rose to popularity when she became a part of The Judgement Day stable formed by Edge. After Dominik Mysterio joined the group, they became one of the most dominant factions in the company, with a strong sense of unity attributing to their success. Currently, all the members hold championship gold.

Rhea Ripley explains how she got into wrestling

In a recent interview with Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Rhea Ripley talked about how she found her passion for professional wrestling after seeing a short clip of Triple H. According to The Enforcer of Judgement Day, during her childhood days one of her friends showed her a short video clip of Triple H. It was a video depicting the moment when The Game shoved a screwdriver into Ric Flair’s head at Survivor Series 2005.

Apparently, this brutal video clip was enough to spark an interest in Ripley for wrestling. After witnessing the encounter between Triple H and Ric Flair, Ripley developed a huge passion for the sport and eventually found her calling in the world of professional wrestling.

“When I was younger, I didn’t watch the full match, but this match got me into wrestling. My friends showed me a clip of Triple H versus Ric Flair, and Triple H shoved the screwdriver in Ric Flair’s head. Yeah, that got me into wrestling”, said Rhea Ripley.

Rhea Ripley attracts interest from Jey Uso

Over the past few days, Jey Uso has been having a fun back and forth with Rhea Ripley about the notion of dating her. It all began when Finn Balor told Jey that Ripley was high on him joining their group and upon hearing this, the former Bloodline member seemed elated.

However he refused to join their group and later attacked them. Last week on RAW, Cody Rhodes mocked Ripley, saying that she seemed to be more interested in Jey rather than Dominik. This eventually led to fanarts of Rhea Ripley and Jey Uso hugging, to which The Enforcer of The Judgement Day reacted with a skull emoji.

Couple of days ago, Jey Uso posted a picture of Carmella and James Ellsworth on his Instagram story, saying that he and Mami could have had a romantic relationship similar to the duo. The Nightmare took notice of this and reacted with a skull emoji to Jey’s message as well.

It has been a pretty funny social media exchange between the two superstars, which indicated that Ripley still has an interest in Jey Uso potentially joining the Judgement Day. Although the chances of that happening are pretty low, their storyline is far from over.
