“Sources have confirmed to Fightful that WWE has been engaged in talks with Cody Rhodes about a multi-year contract extension. Based on what we’re told, WWE is trying to lock him down long-term. As of late, WWE has extended the contracts of Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Rey Mysterio, and Dominik Mysterio. Rhodes would be a monumental re-signing for the company.” Sean Ross Sapp reported.
Insiders believe that Cody Rhodes will receive a salary increase once TKO finalizes his contract extension. TKO is working hard to secure the extension, and it’s expected that they will reach an agreement soon. Cody recently acquired a new bus during Thanksgiving, sparking rumors that the deal had been secured, but it has yet to be finalized.
