With Payback now behind us, WWE now shifts its focus to the next premium live event, Fastlane 2023, which is taking place live at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 7, 2023. The ongoing rivalry between World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura did not end at Payback. Considering the fact that The Visionary has no challenger as of yet, along with the fact that he was attacked by The King of Strong Style after their match, it’s only reasonable for them to have another match which would decide the end of their rivalry.
WWE Women’s Championship: Iyo Sky vs Charlotte Flair
A singles match between these superstars would definitely make for a great match for WWE Fastlane 2023. Since Asuka is not around as of now and Bianca Belair being written off TV, it would make sense for Iyo Sky to go up against The Queen.
John Cena and AJ Styles vs Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa
John Cena’s feud with the former Bloodline member began about 3 weeks ago when he arrived on SmackDown. This week, AJ Styles and The Cenation Leader were supposed to sign a contract to face Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso at WWE Fastlane. However, Styles was attacked backstage by Sikoa and Cena was later laid out by Uso and Sikoa in the ring when he came out to confront them. Although Cena did sign on the contract, Styles was taken out of the equation backstage.
Drew McIntyre vs Cody Rhodes
The Scottish Warrior and The American Nightmare have been at odds ever since Cody’s decision to bring Jey Uso over at RAW. This was not approved by McIntyre, who made his dislike known for the former Bloodline member. Although it’s too early to guess a heel turn for McIntyre, it could be a possibility as well for him to turn against Cody Rhodes, leading to their match at WWE Fastlane.

As of now, it has been confirmed that WWE Fastlane 2023 will be taking place on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Premium Live Event will start at 8 PM ET/ 5 PM PT. It’s unknown as of now when the pre-show for WWE Fastlane 2023 will begin but it’s estimated to be sometime around 7- 7:30 PM.
