Nia Jax is widely considered one of the best female wrestlers on the current WWE roster due to her incredible skill and dominance in the ring. She has been compared to WWE legend Chyna for her impressive strength. Notably, she is the only active female wrestler from the Anoa’i family, which has a long-standing history in WWE.
However, despite her impressive legacy, Jax has been absent from WWE for an extended period and has not won any major titles over the last two years. However, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T thinks that Nia Jax deserves a big push.
Booker T wants a big push for Nia Jax
Booker T shared his thoughts on various topics in the latest episode of the “Hall of Fame” podcast. During the discussion, the WWE Hall of Famer addressed the question of whether Nia Jax should become the Women’s World Champion.
According to Booker T, Nia Jax’s uniqueness makes her a suitable candidate for a championship run in WWE. However, he is not in favor of seeing her win at Crown Jewel specifically but rather wants to see her succeed in the company overall.
“You know she’d had a run with the belt a long time ago. You know, way before she left the company and all that. But I also said, if you get the belt on Nia, who’s going to beat her? Who’s? You know, who’s going to take it away from her? Because one of those types of things is like booking yourself in a corner,” said Booker T.
He also added, “Also, I do want to see Nia Jax in that monster role. But it’s kind of hard when I watch at night because she’s a beautiful girl, and she plays the beautiful girl role as the beautiful monster. I just want to see what I want to see. I want to see Nia Jax take the gloves off, take the makeup off, and just come out there and just beat the hell out of somebody. And I’m going to tell you about that night, Jax, right there. It’s Nia Jax that will sell some tickets.”
Jax to square off in Fatal-5-way match at Crown Jewel
During the October 16 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley, the current WWE Women’s World Champion, faced off against Shayna Baszler. However, the match ended abruptly due to a brawl that broke out involving Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, and Zoey Stark. Following the match, another brawl occurred, and Zoey Stark emerged as the one standing tall.
Later in the show, Rhea Ripley had a confrontation with RAW General Manager, Adam Pearce. Pearce announced a change in the approach and revealed that Ripley would be defending her title at WWE Crown Jewel. The match is a Fatal-5-Way, and the opponents are Nia Jax, Raquel Rodriguez, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the showdown between Nia Jax and Rhea Ripley, who have a long-standing rivalry. Additionally, Raquel Rodriguez and Zoey Stark are likely to team up to take down Nia Jax, seeking revenge after being beaten by her in a previous match.
