Later, official Adam Pearce yelled at Stratus and Stark for using unfair means every time Stratus faces Lynch. He declared that next time, their fight would take place inside a steel cage, in order to prevent any further interference from Zoey Stark.
This announcement apparently caused a great deal of frustration for Stratus, who took out her anger on Big Time Becks by complaining about having to fight her again. In a recent post on Instagram, Trish Stratus insulted Lynch and called her a “bitter b****”, and shared a picture of them fighting backstage.
The Hall of Famer calling her rival “bitter” is a reference to Becky Lynch taking subtle shots at Triple H for his response in a post-SummerSlam press conference. Since then, “lemons and lemonade” have been a running gag between the two, as Becky wore a T-shirt with a lemon on it on RAW last week and drank lemonade while being on commentary.
One thing is for sure, the ongoing rivalry between Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch is most probably coming to an end inside of a steel cage match. Adam Pearce hasn’t announced the date of the match as of yet. Fans can expect it to take place at Payback possibly.
