Charlotte Flair provides the latest update on her injury
On the December 8 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Charlotte Flair sustained a nasty injury while wrestling Asuka. Despite admitting that there was still some pain during movement, Flair continued to put up a spectacular fight for the audience.
Following the match, it appeared that something was amiss with Charlotte Flair, as the referee immediately checked on her. Later, it was confirmed that she had sustained a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during the match. Surprisingly, she managed to continue wrestling despite such a severe injury until the end of the match.
She shared two videos on her Twitter account that showed her rehabilitating her injury. In the first video, doctors are rehabbing her injury, and she is seen attempting to bend her knee. The doctors aimed to test its initial movement after the surgery.
In the second video, she uses crutches to enter a clinic before beginning various exercises on her knee, including stretches and lunges to test strength. Although there was still pain during movement, Flair admitted that it didn’t seem to stop her from the physical activity.
