WWE News & Rumors: Becky Lynch’s emotional announcement, Sasha Banks teases future and top faction receives new name

WWE’s 2024 has been great so far with exciting announcements of matches for the Royal Rumble. Another hot topic revolving around WWE is the return of The Rock to WWE and his possible plans for the WrestleMania 40.

With all these excitements, this week’s RAW peaked when Jinder Mahal gave a brutal reply to the CEO of AEW, Tony Khan, and now the fans are excited about a new announcement from Becky Lynch and also a possible return of the former Champion, Sasha Banks.

Becky Lynch’s emotional announcement about a memoir about her life

The Man, Becky Lynch, posted a photo on social media from a recording studio where she appeared to be doing dubbing for a WWE promo. But in the caption, she added, “My words. My voice. This book is all me.” This made the fans excited as it was not about the WWE promo but for her biography titled ‘Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Girl.’

Last year WWE officially announced the release of Becky Lynch’s new memoir and revealed it would be around 200 pages. The book is expected to cover her early life in Dublin, Ireland along with her passion for wrestling since childhood and also her struggles and achievements in the wrestling industry.

Many WWE stars, such as Megan Morton, Katana, and Shotzi, congratulated Lynch for her new project and added that she was an inspiration to the current generation of superstars. The Man has now heightened expectations for the book by confirming her voice cover for the entire book. The book is set to release on March 26, 2024, and is available for pre-order now.

Sasha Banks hints possible return while top faction receives new name

For the last several months, Sasha Banks, who is a free agent in wrestling industry, has been giving potential hints about her return to the ring. She signed with NJPW after leaving WWE and was sidelined due to injury in May 2023. She was rumored to return to ring soon after revealing her new gear last month.

Yesterday on Instagram, Banks posted an entrance video of her from the Royal Rumble 2022 and added, “One of my favorite gears of all time.” This has again fueled rumors that she is returning to WWE in the Royal Rumble, after AEW rejected her contract demands, as she was asking for more money than Charlotte Flair, who recently signed a multi year contract in WWE.

With a few weeks remaining for the Royal Rumble, Banks is highly expected to participate in the 30 Women Royal Rumble match. The All Mighty, Bobby Lashley, and the Street Profits joined forces in August 2023, forming a new faction on SmackDown.

The faction formed after Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins attacked the OC, and they announced Lashley as the leader of their group. Now, reportedly, the name of their faction is set to be announced on this week’s Friday Night SmackDown. As per reports, the three-men faction will be called “The Pride.”

Lashley was the leader of The Hurt Business, that dominated the RAW brand from 2020 to 2022. Now with a new faction, Lashley and The Street Profits are set to make a new version of The Hurt Business.
