WWE reportedly makes offer to Stone Cold for WrestleMania 40 appearance
In his pursuit of making WrestleMania 40 the most spectacular event of all time, Triple H has spared no expense. With just a few days before The Showcase of the Immortals, some legendary faces may have already been in the process of appearing in the Mania event. As Cody Rhodes and The Rock got into a confrontation during a recent program under the Red brand, an insane incident unfolded behind the scenes.
Some lucky viewers caught a glimpse of Stone Cold Steve Austin in a production truck. They are now getting crazy, asking if these two icons will join the main plot, which is The Bloodline vs. Cody Rhodes.
Stone Cold’s last match was a surprise battle against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38. Given the hype surrounding the bout between The Bloodline and Cody Rhodes, his inclusion in the Bloodline plot would be a huge deal.
Fans are now excited to see which side Stone Cold will choose in the main event. However, the biggest surprise is yet to come since some reports suggest that wrestling legend Hulk Hogan will also attend the grand PLE event.
Hulk Hogan, John Cena also rumored to feature at WrestleMania 40
John Cena has been out of the ring since undergoing surgery after last year’s brutal confrontation with Samoa Joe. On top of that, John Cena hasn’t officially retired, so his legion of followers is waiting impatiently for him to make an impressive return.
Cena was also seen in the same production van as Steve Austin, which led to more theories about his role in the Bloodline plot. But the appearance of wrestling great Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 40 might be a major shock.
In 2023, Hogan expressed his desire for one last WrestleMania match, but considering his controversial history and age, some wrestlers may not welcome the idea. According to PWInsider, he will be involved with WWE in some way over the week, but the exact nature of his role is yet unknown.
The report noted, “There’s been talk over the last week that WWE is working on having Hulk Hogan involved in some fashion during WrestleMania 40 week. No word yet what the role might be or in what capacity.” It remains to be seen if The Hulkster makes an unexpected entrance during WrestleMania 40 weekend.
