Triple H has been an integral part of WWE’s administrative system after becoming a part of the company’s Board of Directors in 2015. He helped reshape the landscape of the promotion. His influence has become noticeable by the improvement in the quality of the weekly shows. However, it looks like The Game’s time as part of WWE’s Board of Directors is coming to an end.
The merger deal between WWE and Endeavor, later referred to as TKO Group Holdings, is expected to be effective from the latter half of this year. WWE is reportedly going to make some aggressive cuts following the merger which could include some big names.
Triple H not included on new board of directors
It’s been reported by multiple sources, including Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com that WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque is no longer going to be on WWE’s Board of Directors following the merger between WWE and Endeavor.
This report comes as a surprise to many, considering all of Triple H’s contributions both in and out of the ring. He has spent a lot of time developing the pre-existing talent and recruiting new blood, including rehiring previously fired wrestlers like Braun Strowman.
Per an SEC filing announcement today, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque will NOT be on the new board members entity for ‘TKO’ after Endeavor acquires WWE officially next month.

Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel shared the timeline of the merger, stating that the deal would be finalized shortly after WWE’s Payback event in September 2023. The mega-merger is valued at a staggering $9.3 billion, which aims to integrate WWE and UFC into a single publicly traded entity.
Creative control still remains with HHH
Despite Triple H’s departure from the Board of Directors, fans shouldn’t get too worried about The Game leaving the company. It’s believed that his current role as the creative head of the company won’t be affected much by the merger.
Although WWE and UFC will no longer remain under separate head leadership, there shouldn’t be any major changes in the creative department. So it’s pretty much guaranteed that Hunter wouldn’t be removed from his current position as Chief Content Officer of WWE.
However, the new Board of Directors would oversee the day-to-day operations of both companies, likely from October onwards. Triple H will be left to exclusively focus on the creative decisions of WWE.
Likewise, it would make sense for Dana White to focus on UFC matters only. After the integration of both companies, it was rumored that WWE would be making some heavy cuts on their roster. However, that has been debunked by WWE CEO Nick Khan in a recent interview.
With the upcoming shifts in power and the corporate structure, it looks like Triple H no longer has a seat at the table. Despite being on the Board since 2015, it may now be time for him to focus solely on creative matters.
