According to rumors, WWE is making massive preparations for WrestleMania 40, which will be held at Lincoln Financial Field Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Stamford-based company is preparing superstars like Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and The Rock for the upcoming event, and fans are excited to see the April 6 event.

The WWE Royal Rumble 2024 saw some exciting matches, which will likely have a great impact on the upcoming WrestleMania 40 event. Cody Rhodes won his second Royal Rumble match and ‘The Tribal Chief’ was scheduled to defend his title in a fatal 4-way match, which Roman Reigns successfully defended by pinning AJ Styles with a spear.

The next big premium event is the WWE Elimination Chamber on February 24, 2024, at Optus Stadium in Burswood, Perth, Western Australia. After the event in Perth, WrestleMania 40 will be next, which will be a two-night event on April 6 and April 7.

Last year on WrestleMania 39, Cody Rhodes came very close to winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against the ‘Head of the Table’ but due to the interference of ‘The Tribal Heir’ Solo Sikoa, Rhodes lost his match. This year, WWE is reportedly making massive preparations for the Philadelphia event of WrestleMania 40. As per predictions, The Rock may fight Roman at the Elimination Chamber, but as Reigns is unlikely to attend the Perth event, all three superstars—Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and The Rock—might have a Triple Threat match in the biggest event of the year.

For The Rock to get it done, this could be a great time for it. For Roman as well. Roman’s in his prime, at the height of his title reign. It’s not gonna get any higher than this. If it is that time to pull the trigger, hey man, pull the trigger. The Rock’s back. Rock got a little time off. Right now with everything going on in Hollywood, might as well come over here and keep yourself in shape. You want to stay active. You want to stay in the game. So I get it.”

Some WWE fans have also predicted a Triple Threat match for the WrestleMania 40 main event, which will be between Roman Reigns vs. The Rock and Cody Rhodes. This match is one of the most hyped matches in recent times. Cody is the Royal Rumble winner, The Rock is the challenger, and Roman Reigns will defend his title from both WWE stars.
