Recently, another superstar has fulfilled a fan’s wish from the Make-A-Wish foundation. That star is none other than Cody Rhodes, aka The American Nightmare. Yesterday he met one of his special fans and they had a fun conversation.
WWE superstars have always fulfilled their special fan’s wishes through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In the foundation’s decades-long history, many WWE stars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins have granted many wishes. Netizens are full of appreciation for this gesture of Cody.
Cody Rhodes shares a heartfelt moment with a fan
Cody Rhodes came back to WWE at WrestleMania 38 last year and made a huge impact after defeating Seth Rollins in his return match. The American Nightmare is a beloved babyface and it appears he was granted his first Make-a-Wish after returning to WWE. Cody has been on a push after his return in 2022, as his fame continues to rise in the arena with every passing week. Rhodes has simply reached a level of popularity fans couldn’t have thought of.

Yesterday, WWE shared a video of Rhodes meeting a fan as part of “Make-A-Wish”, the first wish granted by Cody Rhodes since his return to WWE. The fan was very happy to meet with Cody Rhodes, calling The American Nightmare one of his ‘top guys’ in wrestling, alongside Sting. Both of them also discussed Cody’s WrestleMania loss and both were not happy with that. Cody Rhodes also gifted the fan a signed weightlifting belt and the two shared a hug. Naturally, fans found the whole interaction wholesome.

It was not the first time that The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes has done something generous for fans and the wrestling community. Previously Cody Rhodes did something incredible before his WrestleMania 39 main event. He wore his standard belt to the ring, with the names of the wrestling promotions that he worked on after leaving WWE.

However, He became the talk of the wrestling community as he handed the belt to Brodie Jr., the son of the late great Brodie Lee. Amanda Huber, wife of the late Brodie Lee put out a tweet expressing her gratitude towards The American Nightmare for what he did.
