WWE veteran picks Roman Reigns over The Rock
Roman Reigns and former WWE superstar The Rock have been linked together several times by fans due to their shared family connection and the success they both have achieved in WWE. However, on the latest “Oh You Didn’t Know” podcast, “Road Dogg” Brian James made a statement that he thinks Roman Reigns storytelling ability is better than that of The Rock.

“I watch the storytelling Roman does visually with facials, It just makes me think, like I want to slap him sometimes, you know what I mean? I just want to slap him and go, ‘You ain’t as cool as you think you are,’ you know what I mean? That works, that to me, he’s doing his job, I don’t know, it’s incredible right now.” said Brian James.
However, WWE legend Brian James did note that he now sees things from a secular perspective as he was an active performer during The Rock’s run in WWE, getting to play a part in some of his arcs. The WWE Hall Of Famer believes both Reigns and Rock are very different personalities as performers, but he believes because of Tribal Chief acting he has the edge over “The People’s Champ” especially because of Reigns’ most recent arc with The Bloodline.
Brain also said, “I’m not dogging — and Rock’s a great actor. Look one of my favorite movies is ‘Central Intelligence,'” he said. “During this, what a character he [Reigns] has been, and I just like his family member before him, kind of carrying the company, you know what I mean?”

Roman Reigns has held the WWE Universal Championship for over 1000 days now in his most recent reign, undoubtedly the longest title reign of the modern era. Over time, the Tribal Chief has defended his championship 27 times in his whole reign.
He has faced some of the best wrestlers in WWE while elevating young rising stars by giving them title opportunities. Brock Lesnar, John Cena, and Daniel Bryan have all tested The Head of the Table and fallen flat in the ring. Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Drew McIntyre nearly dethroned the champion in epic clashes, but Roman somehow managed to retain his title. Jey Uso, Cesaro, and Matt Riddle had rare chances to work at the top and rose to the challenge, eventually, they failed to snatch the title.
