WWE veteran R-Truth surprisingly tops CM, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and others in latest merch seller rankings

R-Truth is one of the most entertaining and fan favorite wrestlers in WWE history. He has been with the company for more than 20 years and made a surprise return to WWE at the Survivor Series in 2023. He is currently involved in a storyline with the Judgement Day.

Recently, R-Truth has topped the list of merch sellers for January, beating out some of the biggest names in the industry, such as CM Punk, Cody Rhodes and WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns, who were the leading merch sellers.

R-Truth becomes WWE’s top merch seller

After his return to WWE, R Truth has been trying to join The Judgment Day, a faction consisting of the Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and Damian Priest, WWE Women Champion Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. To prove himself as a member of Judgement Day, Truth started wearing new t-shirts, containing the Judgement Day texts and logos.

His new gear went viral, and the fans started to wear it to the WWE shows. As a result, Truth’s two T-shirts, the standard edition and a special edition known as the ‘live, laugh, love edition have made the top two places in the best-seller list on WWE’s official site, the WWE Shop.

Truth has surpassed the record of CM Punk, who made his return to WWE in November and has been the top seller for the last two months. Punk’s has secured third and fourth place in the list with his two t-shirts, named ‘return’ and ‘hell froze over’. He has been wearing this merchandise and acting as the official Judgement Day member, even though they have not officially accepted him.

WWE fans react to R-Truth’ s success

R Truth’s recent merch sales have surprised WWE fans and they have expressed their admiration and appreciation for him on social media. Fans praised Truth for beating CM Punk’s merch sales record and they want Truth to win a WWE championship before he leaves the company.

Another fan commented, “I have no idea how much R-Truth is making, but the man deserves a raise.” During his early career, Truth was one of the top faces in WWE and won many titles. In 2010, he won the WWE United States Championship for the first time by defeating The Miz.

Later in 2012, he won the WWE Tag Team Championship by teaming up with Kofi Kingston and holding the titles for 139 days. He is also the record holder for winning the WWE 24/7 Championship for 54 times. With his return to WWE, fans wanted Truth to hold a WWE title for a last time and end his 30 years of wrestling career with a title that he truly deserves.
