Former WWE superstar Matt Cardona and current one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champion, Chelsea Green have been together for quite some time now. The couple had established themselves as one of the most popular couples, known as The Cardonas.

On Monday Night RAW this week, Chelsea Green was interviewed on RAW Talk. Replying to a clip featuring his wife’s interview, former WWE superstar Matt Cardona(fka Zack Ryder) made a provocative X-rated remark, revealing his intentions with her. His tweet apparently went viral in no time, as even his tag team partner jokingly told him to put his phone down.

Cardona may have gotten a bit too excited here but it’s amusing to see the couples openly joke and flirt with each other in public. Although Chelsea Green hasn’t responded to her husband’s tweet.

When both Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green had departed from WWE, the couple made a name for themselves in various other promotions as one of the hottest teams, known as The Cardonas. They got engaged in 2019 and even had their wedding delayed once due to COVID-19 restrictions. They eventually got married on 31 December, 2021 and have been together ever since.
Both Cardona and Green have attributed Cody Rhodes and his wife, Brandi Rhodes for setting them up. It all began when the Rhodes couple were performing at Impact Wrestling, where Green was also wrestling at the time. Apparently, Brandi Rhodes mentioned Cardona to Green a lot of times, despite Green being firm about not wanting to date a wrestler.
After the two eventually gave each other a chance, they fell in love quickly and got engaged in 2019. Several of their friends in the wrestling industry, like Dolph Ziggler, John Morrison, The Miz, Cody Rhodes and many others attended their wedding.
Both Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green have achieved individual success in their career. Green is currently one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions and Cardona being one of the most popular superstars in independent promotions.
