In the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite on August 16, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett going up against Jeff Hardy in a death match. Looks like it’s going to be an action-packed match.
It has been 12 years since both of these veterans faced off in the ring. The match they will be having is not just any Deathmatch, but a Texas Chain Saw Massacre Deathmatch. It will be quite pleasant for AEW fans to witness Jeff VS Jeff after a decade since 2011 where Hardy will have a shot at redemption.
Jeff Hardy to face Jarrett in Texas Chainsaw Massacre deathmatch
In a most unusual match, Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett will take on Jeff Hardy in a Texas Chain Saw Massacre death match on this Wednesday’s “Fight for the Fallen” edition of AEW Dynamite. On the latest episode of Rampage, it was announced and the match is sponsored by the new video game that is aligned with the famous movie. It will be their first singles match since a December 2011 cage match at TNA Final Resolution.

Also, this will be Jeff Hardy’s first singles match since he faced Adam Cole on May 18, 2022, and he will aim to give his best. Jarrett challenged Hardy to bring who he can, as he plans on bringing his crew, and who knows what chaos will arise once these two groups cross paths.
But one thing is for sure, this match will be written as one of the best matches that have ever happened in the history of AEW.

Hardy left TNA after falling out with Jarrett: Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy exited TNA back in 2017 and went to WWE. However, Matt Hardy recently revealed how a difference of opinion with Jeff Jarrett led to their exit. Hardy explained the situation in the latest episode of “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy” and noted that the two of them were ready to stay with TNA, but they were not satisfied as things were not going as they thought.
âJeff and I were fully committed to staying with TNA, We loved the stuff we were doing at TNA. We, The Hardys and Jeff Jarrett had major differences of opinion in what direction we were all going to go business-wise. If Jeff Jarrett hadnât been there, we wouldnât have gone back to WWE. I think we wouldâve stayed at Impact.â said Matt.
