Years after shaming fellow Aussie for using Onlyfans, Nick Kyrgios shocks fans with spectacular announcement involving the adult site

Nick Kyrgios is one of the most enigmatic figures in the tennis world. Kyrgios has proven in several instances that he has the innate talent and brilliance to dominate on the court yet hasn’t had a breakthrough in his career. The 2023 season has been especially slow for the Aussie due to the injuries following a house break-in, at the beginning of this year.

However, Kyrgios has proven to have followers even with his low profile and last month the tennis star was shockingly invited to be an analyst at Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. It seems the star is gaining more exposure now, as he has officially signed with OnlyFans.

Nick Kyrgios announces Onlyfans deal

Nick Kyrgios Australian tennis star has announced that he has signed a deal to join video subscription company OnlyFans. The 28-year-old star labeled the move as a “no brainer.”

“Launching an OnlyFans was a no-brainer,” Kyrgios said in a statement on Thursday. “They are revolutionising social media and I wanted to be a part of that. Athletes can no longer just show up on the court or the field, we have to show up online too. I want to create, produce, direct and own content. That’s the future. I’ve been speaking to my fans directly for years and I know what they want to see.”

“Of course, there’ll be tennis balls involved, tips, tricks and behind the scenes, but also they’ll get to see all different sides of me. Gaming, tattoos, my intimate side – it’s all on the table and I’ll be bringing fans along for the ride!”

The UK-based company OnlyFans began as a social media platform for anyone wanting to produce videos and photos to share with subscribing fans, but since 2021 it quickly became known for sexually explicit and other adult content.

Kyrgios, who has proven to be a wild player on the court, is known for voicing out his views which are most times controversial, but his behavior at times on the court, has made him a polarizing figure.

He reached his first major title singles at the 2022 Wimbledon, losing in a four-set thriller to Novak Djokovic. However, he won his first Grand Slam doubles title at the Australian Open alongside compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis.

Kyrgios’ U-turn over Onlyfans exposed

Nick Kyrgios took to Instagram to lash out at fellow Australian Bernard Tomic over his OnlyFans account back in 2021.

The two countrymen have been having little squabbles after their recent exit from the Davis Cup but when Kyrgios Posted a story on his official Instagram handle venting out his anger at Tomic for opening an OnlyFans account then, it was made public that their relationship had gone worse. But no one imagined that Kyrgios would later open an account two years later.

Kyrgios wrote, “I got compared with Bernard Tomic today and I’ve never felt more insulted. Does he have a foundation? @nkfoundation – does he have the accomplishments? Did he raise money for the bushfires?”

Further, he added, “It’s disgusting man. Do your research, also I ain’t f*cking with anyone who does onlyfans. Oh and by accomplishments (I beat the big 4).” Times have changed and the rivalry between the two has also cooled down.

Nick Kyrgios will likely have plenty of time to keep his OnlyFans account updated as he continues to struggle with injuries. The tennis star had missed all four grand slams this season with wrist, knee and foot injuries, and looks set to miss the 2024 Australian Open after being left off the entry list.
