Zelina Vega goes on furious rant on social media over Nick Aldis comments

Zelina Vega, a former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion and the 2021 Queen’s Crown tournament winner, began her WWE career in 2017 as the manager of Andrade. Her prominence grew after 2020 when she transitioned to a singles superstar in the SmackDown roster.

Recently, Zelina engaged in a social media exchange with SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis, responding to his comments about her future WWE Championship opportunities.

Zelina Vega reacts to Nick Aldis comments

It all began on a recent episode of WWE’s The Bump, where Nick Aldis expressed that Zelina Vega needs to prove herself significantly to earn a WWE Championship opportunity. In response to Aldis’s remarks, Zelina took to Twitter and posted a one-minute video, expressing her disagreement with Aldis.

She said, “The person that has survived things that most people couldn’t imagine. The kind of things that would have someone like Rhea Ripley crumble down to their knees. So don’t uh dare sit up there and tell me that I have to earn it.”

Zelina also mentioned she had gone through a lot for the past days with Santos Escobar and being the member of LWO. Escobar, the former member of LWO, betrayed the faction by attacking the Hall Of Famer, Rey Mysterio resulting in a knee injury. On the next SmackDown episode, Zelina made her appearance to the ring and shocked the world when she slapped Escobar for his actions.

At WWE Backlash 2023, she had her first shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley. The event took place in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Zelina received a huge ovation from her hometown crowd. Despite the loss, Zelina was praised by fans for her performance.

Zelina Vega celebrates latest milestone with Dakota Kai

Dakota Kai and Zelina Vega run a YouTube channel named “ZELVX and CHARLIE GIRL,” where they regularly upload videos covering gaming, wrestling, and various other topics. They launched the channel in September 2023 and recently celebrated reaching 15,000 subscribers on January 10.

To mark this milestone, they both got matching Pokemon tattoos – Kai with a Vulpix and Vega with a Seel. Zelina shared the celebration through a video on Twitter, documenting their visit to the tattoo studio.

Kai has been out of action since May 2023 due to an injury, while Vega recently signed a long-term deal with WWE and expected to join with Andrade, after his departure from AEW last week.
